Choyce’s band circa ‘99-’03 — glad he survived! Liner notes describe the debauchery and a love of The Heartbreakers that was the volatile foundation of this LP. Which is totally fucked up garage punk played so junked out the songs feel like they’ll fall apart yet they just manage to hold onto the rhythm. The result will put a swagger in your step and Choyce’s dirty guitar will make you sink down real low. Two of the songs, “Horse Fever Blues” and “My Baby, She’s A Heart Attack,” appear on the Sympathetic Sounds of Montreal SFTRI 686. This is a short but incredible record. All the songs are fucking cool and the guitar riffs will grate your face. If you are planning a lost weekend, you might want to have this LP handy! This gem of a limited pressing is still available!
