This is the second CD by THE LIQUID VAPOURS who are an east coast Canada combo who actually live in 2 separate provinces, PEI and Nova Scotia. Their debut CD was straight garage punk high energy fun and this one takes off from there adding some country, surf and even a bit of pop to give the songs some really nice memorable hooks! There’s lots of fast and jangly guitars intertwined with the lofi vocals on these 14 songs that speed by way too fast for my brain to fully absorb, so this one gets left on repeat in my CD player! And deservedly so, as this one just gets better and better every listen! And don’t expect to see this band playing out live much, as they are more of good time studio band due to the geography separating them. (Dave O’Halloran)
