First it’s Ludds, it might as well be Thee Ludds, with a perfect Back from the Grave style primitive garage stomper “Moron”. I just loved this as much as the din of original ’66 punkers like The Golden Catalinas “Varsity Club Song”. Add the bass of The Dreg from the Fleshtones and you might get the picture. Worth it for this band alone. The other side has No Brainers from Leicester who play sloppy stripped down punk rock. I enjoyed their second song most, fast and dirty as any Devil Dogs or Pagans song. This is one fine release on Hodad, now if only it had cover art, this came to me in a cardstock sleeve! (Bob Scott)
