THE PACK A.D. We Kill Computers

THE PACK A.D.
We Kill Computers CD or LP
Mint 2010

Third time out and finally The Pack A.D. make a record that approaches their wild, loud and sweaty live show! It all starts off in high gear with the guitar and drum rocker in “Deer” and seldom mellows much after that. There are a coupla slower numbers in “They Know Me” and “The Slow Down” that you expect from a Pack ad LP, but overall this is pretty much what this 2 piece combo sounds like live. There’re a few personal faves on this one, “1880” with its feedback and cymbal attack that slays me every time I play it. And right after that the big crunch rock sound of “Math, The Stars” all held together by Becky’s passionate pleas. Oh, there’s lots of other faves on this one too, as this band has finally got it all together in their sound. Is it constant touring or the mastering of Jim Diamond or a combination of both? Doesn’t really matter as The Pack A.D. have finally accomplished what we knew they could do all along! (Dave O’Halloran)
