Primitive blues/punk/garage/rock’n’roll type sounds blast outta this 2 piece that come from Toronto. Lots of wild and wailing guitar noises blend fine with the out of control drum cacophony and when they throw in some primal oohs and ya’s, it makes for some tasty rock’n’roll! Looking at their myspace page, it appears that drummer Hilary and guitarist/vocalist Jason trade instruments ala The Leather Uppers (2 piece Toronto combo who regularly exchanged instruments, sadly defunct) and Hilary does a mighty fine job on the vocals of the menacing “Black Widow Woman”. Love the band name too! (Dave O’Halloran)
